As many of you may remember, we discontinued the Dr. Dabber Aurora July of 2019. The Aurora was our best-selling vaporizer pen for several years, winning many awards including 2016 Winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup, so we were sad to see it go, but excited for what was ahead.

Since then, we’ve been preparing for the launch of the Aurora’s next generation, and we are excited to back Stella as our best vape pen yet. We thank you all for your patience over the last year while we prepared to launch the newest addition to Dr. Dabber’s product lineup - the Dr. Dabber Stella.

The Stella is the next generation vaporizer pen, taking cues from it’s award-winning predecessor, the Dr. Dabber Aurora. Featuring major improvements in almost every category, expertly packed into a signature black stainless steel body, the Dr. Dabber Stella is the new standard for a premium vaporizer pen… Prepare for liftoff.

Stella, meaning “star” in Latin, pays homage to our now discontinued vaporizer pen, the Aurora (named after the Aurora Borealis). As the Aurora’s successor, Stella features several major upgrades and enhancements.

What’s Different About Stella?

Much like the Aurora, Stella features three heat settings, but with Stella, we’ve added a preheat setting. In total, Stella’s heat settings range from 460 to 775 degrees Fahrenheit. Stella is just as easy to operate, maneuvering between different heat settings all with the touch of a single button. However, Stella’s heat settings were carefully selected and modified based on customer feedback, and selected by our vape experts, designed to perform exceptionally with a wide variety of oils, including CBD.

Aside from the obvious changes - an upgraded exterior featuring a new mouthpiece and modern aesthetic - Stella comes with a built in alumina ceramic vaporization chamber with a sealed alumina ceramic heating element. Stella features a vortex-like airflow functionality, optimizing flavor and vapor production. This is due to the offset air inlets in the vaporization chamber. We’ve also upgraded this pen with a floating vaporization chamber to optimize performance. The floating chamber reduces the contact of the chamber with the rest of the body of the pen, reducing heat transfer to the user’s hands and helps focus heat to the vaporization chamber.

Battery life is one of the most important factors when considering a vaporizer, and Stella doesn’t disappoint in this category, but we didn’t stop there. Stella’s battery has also been upgraded with a TCR heating element. TCR (Temperature Coefficient Resistance) refers to Stella’s temperature control and this is huge for the advancement in vape pen performance. Instead of the battery outputting a constant voltage, the voltage adjusts based on the desired temperature of the heating element. Benefits of temperature control include avoiding dry or burnt hits, preservation of the coil and wick life, extended battery life, and overall vape consistency.

Following in the footsteps of the Dr. Dabber SWITCH, Stella is Dr. Dabber’s first vaporizer pen that features pass-through charging, meaning you can literally use it while it’s charging! Stella also comes equipped with an extended battery capacity.

Stella is also manufactured with medical/food grade materials, and features a mouthpiece that has a built in silicone filter/airflow regulator to reduce splashing of the oil during vaping.
