Christmas is right around the corner which means it’s time to whip out your favorite CBD vape pen or rig and binge all your favorite holiday movies. 1. Elf - Elf might just be one of the most popular holiday movies of all time. Buddy the Elf, played by Will Ferrell, embarks on a journey to New York City to find his real dad, after discovering he’s a human. If you like Christmas comedies, you’ll love Elf. Unfortunately, we didn’t see this one available from any of today’s popular streaming services so you’ll have to rent/buy it, but we promise it’s worth it!
   
   
2. The Nightmare Before Christmas - Is it a Halloween movie, or is it a Christmas movie? We say both. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas tells the story of Jack Skellington, King of Halloween Town, who discovers Christmas Town, and attempts to marry the two holidays. This Halloween/Christmas classic is so good you’ll want to watch it for both holidays. If you have a Disney+ membership, you can watch it there!
   
   
3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas - The OG Grinch cartoon debuted in 1966, then was remade with Jim Carrey in 2000, and most recently re-animated in 2018. The Grinch’s tale is a classic - on the outskirts of Whoville lives a green, revenge-seeking Grinch (played by Jim Carrey), who plans to ruin Christmas for all Whoville citizens. Jim Carrey’s Grinch is our personal favorite, and you can watch it on Netflix, but the OG cartoon is available on Youtube for free.
   
   
4. Home Alone - “KEVIN!” Another Christmas Comedy, nothing proves “Be careful what you wish for” better than Home Alone. An eight-year-old troublemaker fights to protect his home from a pair of burglars when he’s accidentally left “home alone” by his family during Christmas vacation. The original was so popular, they made a sequel (Home Alone 2: Lost In New York), two years later. Both can be watched on Disney+ if you have a membership!
   
   
5. A Christmas Story - A quirky comedy based in the 1940’s, A Christmas Story follows a young boy named Ralphie, who attempts to convince his parents, his teacher, and Santa that a Red Ryder BB gun is the perfect Christmas gift for him. You can watch this Christmas classic on Hulu & Youtube TV.
   
   
6. It’s a Wonderful Life - If you’re looking for something a little more serious and heartwarming, It’s a Wonderful Life might be for you. Shot in 1946, this black and white Christmas film tells the story of an angel sent from Heaven to help a desperately frustrated businessman by showing him what life would have been like if he had never existed. Considering how hard this year has been, It’s a Wonderful Life might just be what we all need to watch. Check it out on Amazon Prime!
   
   
7. Christmas with the Kranks - With their daughter away, Luther and Nora Krank decide to skip Christmas all together until she decides to come home, causing an uproar when they have to plan last minute. Another comedy that’s available on Hulu & Youtube TV.
   
   
8. A Madea Christmas - Everybody loves Madea. Tyler Perry plays Madea, yet again, in this unique Christmas comedy. Madea dispenses her unique form of holiday spirit on a rural town when she’s coaxed into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas. Check out Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas on Hulu & Youtube TV.
   
   
9. Office Christmas Party - With the tagline, “Party like your job depends on it”, this new age Christmas comedy puts an interesting twist on the cliche holiday party you see in most Christmas movies. When his uptight CEO sister threatens to shut down his branch, the branch manager throws an epic Christmas party in order to land a big client and save the day, but the party gets way out of hand. 10. Just Friends - We had to include one Rom-Com on the list. While visiting his hometown during Christmas, former teenage nerd turned hot shot music executive, Chris Brander (played by Ryan Reynolds), comes face-to-face with his old high school crush whom he was friend-zoned by. Check this one out on Netflix.
