  • What makes Dr. Dabber Different?

    Dr. Dabber has always been known as the innovator in the eRig industry, as we created the very first eRig in 2015, the Dr. Dabber Boost. While most eRigs on the market today are simply evolutions of our original design (even the most popular ones), we continued to work on improving the original, deleting replaceable heating chambers, adding pure quartz inserts and separating the electronics from the heating assembly (the main point of failure for many eRigs).

  • Which Dr. Dabber product is for me?

    Switch² is the creme de la creme in terms of eRigs, standing alone with no competition. Using induction heating and packing every feature in our arsenal, it is designed as a home device, to be enjoyed in or around your house. It is for those that want the absolute best.

    Switch GO is the little brother. About half the size of the Switch² and built for portability, Switch GO is the most versatile eRig in our line and the one that is likely the best option for most people.

    Ghost² is our first dry eRig, pocket sized and discreet. Although it isn't meant to be a replacement for a standard eRig, it is a perfect compliment for when you can't bring one with you.

  • Why is Quartz Better than Ceramic?

    Quartz offers a cleaner, purer flavor with faster heat transfer and a smooth, non-porous surface that's easier to keep clean. In a temperature-controlled eRig, its quick responsiveness allows for more precise heating and consistent cloud production without sacrificing taste. The only benefit of ceramic (heat retention) is completely redundant in an eRig, as you can maintain temperature electronically, unlike a traditional torch and banger.

  • What is Omnidirectional Heating?

    Omnidirectional heating surrounds the insert with even heat from all sides, unlike traditional bottom-heated designs that create hot spots. The result is more consistent diffusion, better flavor, improved efficiency, and more accurate temperature control.

  • What is Induction Heating?

    Induction heating uses a magnetic field to generate heat directly in the heating element rather than relying on a traditional resistive coil. This provides rapid, precise, and highly responsive temperature control for smoother, more consistent performance. Because the heating system is physically separated from the electronics, it also eliminates one of the biggest failure points of conventional eRigs. Heat damage and leakage into internal components kill eRigs. The result is greater reliability, longer lifespan, and importantly, no replaceable heating chambers.

  • Why don't I need replacements?

    We have engineered our eRigs to function with reusable heating inserts, as we identified years ago that one of our customers biggest issue with most eRigs is having to continuously buy new heating chambers. We don't believe in this as a business model, unlike other competitors. We want your Dr. Dabber product to be reliable out of the box for years to come.

  • Why does customer service matter?

    Because customers matter, obviously. Dr. Dabber was built on industry leading customer service and we believe the sale of a product is only the beginning of our relationship with a customer, not the end. We are here to help with anything that pops up, with a team of actual dabbers that understand the products inside out from personal experience.
