Secret Walls Las Vegas Semi Finals Recap

by Dr. Dabber on August 25, 2016

The artists left it all on the canvas Wednesday night at the Secret Walls Semi Finals hosted at Container Park in Las Vegas, NV. The self described "Fight Club" of the art scene, inspired by Marvel comics and graffiti.

The Dr. Dabber sponsored event pits six artists against one another in a 90 minute illustration battle. After the timer is up each artist is judged by the crowd and their decibel level of cheers.

Savageson took the win and will proceed to the finals after competing against Eric Vozzola, Orfinart, Austin Spencer, Ryan Brunty and Mike Biggs.

A fixture in the global art community for over 10 years, Secret Walls (Formerly Secret Wars) is the World's premier live art event. The cool simplicity of a monochrome palette mixed with the invigorating effects of time constraint has proven to be a winning concept. Today, over one thousand shows have been witnessed by the masses in almost every continent.

It's an experience that connects the audience to the artist as they watch them freestyle on a large piece before their eyes, showing the process of the work that we are so used to seeing as finished pieces in galleries.
