As the temperatures shift into Spring, we sent the Dr. Dabber crew to the High Desert for the 1st annual High Times “Dope Cup” - a gathering for those who support cannabis activism, art, culture, and consumption held this year in Adelanto, California. This sleepy town located just two hours from the City of Angels housed the High Desert High Times event inside Adelanto Stadium, attracting over 7000 attendees over the span of two days. Patrons were free to roam booths learning about cannabis, consumption, topicals, edibles, and of course, vaporizing - all while being in a safe environment, resembling a modern-age cannabis farmers market.
Having attended countless events throughout the years, Dr. Dabber is no stranger to The Cup. We love attending Cannabis Cups and engaging with Dr. Dabber fans and cannabis advocates alike.
Dr. Dabber was out in full force showcasing our products with live demos and giving exclusive first access to our brand new Aaron Kai x Aurora Kit collaboration. Non-stop demos with the SWITCH had everyone blowing thick, milky clouds of terpene-infused vapors. Sampling the finest concentrates from Cresco, we had everyone switched on after their first dab.
Musical performances were held from notorious artists including Mike G, Trill Sammy, Soulja Boy, and Waka Flocka Flame. Munchies were satisfied with a variety of food trucks offering everything from funnel cake to kebabs and falafel. Medicated lemonade and frozen treats were sure to cure any dry mouth in attendance. A few lucky customers were able to take home some free swag with their purchases provided by Dr. Dabber. Waka Flocka stole the show, performing infamous hits like “No Hands”, “O Let’s Do It”, “Hard in da Paint” and many more. The highlight of our night consisted of the rapper jumping into the crowd and running over to us, getting rowdy for his song, “Wildboy”.
In addition to live entertainment and consumption and product sampling, Dope Cup ran several contests, awarding the best of the best in the industry. Winning the ”Best Infused Preroll” was Lift Ticket Laboratories with a medicated rolling paper. “Best Indoor Indica” was awarded to “Wedding Cake”, grown by Triple Seven. All in all, High Desert Dope Cup was another successful trip for Dr. Dabber and all who attended. Being able to educate our fans and the community about cannabis consumption in a responsible and informative way is always an awesome experience for us.
We hope to see you at our next show, Cannabis Cup Central Valley, or every First Friday in the lively Downtown Las Vegas Arts District. Thank you for all the continued support, we appreciate everyone showing love that we have met. None of this would be possible without you all!
