With the launch of the Ghost², Dr. Dabber is reintroducing one of its most iconic products — completely reimagined for a new era of concentrate technology. We sat down with Jamie Rosen, CEO of Dr. Dabber, to talk about what makes Ghost² special, why the Ghost deserved a rebirth, and how it sets the stage for the future of dabbing.
Q: The Ghost was one of Dr. Dabber’s first products and a fan favorite. Why was now the right time to bring it back as Ghost²?
Jamie Rosen: [When we released the Ghost in 2013 it was built to blend in while giving a pleasant experience, something that wasn’t available at the time. Since then technology has advanced significantly and now we’re able to offer some really advanced features to our new model including our exclusive dynamic heating modes introduced with the Switch 2, and now all ceramic mouthpiece (glass upgrade available) and airpathway . Now is as good of a time as ever to reinvent the ghost 2, with a new sleek look and feel that will blend you in with anyone vaping around you and will get you and your dabs into the doors at your favorite event.]
Q: What were your main goals when redesigning Ghost for today’s consumer?
Jamie Rosen: [Our main goal was to make a unit that was built to last and stealthy enough for situations that you shouldn't be dabbing in. Also we wanted something that respected the high end hash market and doesn't degrade the amazing terpene profiles found in top tier rosins. We were adamant that your smoke should be traveling through silicone as well.]
Q: Ghost² introduces Dynamic Heating Modes — Ascent, Descent, and Steady. Why was it important to include these options?
Jamie Rosen: [It was very important to introduce dynamic heating modes because we believe that every person enjoys dabbing in a unique way and we wanted to give the user the ability to customize that journey. ]
Q: Beyond heating modes, what other tech upgrades should users be excited about?
Jamie Rosen: [The biggest upgrades would have to be the dynamic heating modes, form factor, ceramic airpath and mouthpiece and the ability to upgrade to glass attachments easily.]
Q: How does Ghost² balance honoring the legacy of the original Ghost with pushing forward into next-gen design?
Jamie Rosen: [The initial tagline for the ghost was high class. Low profile, and later less heat. More flavor. I believe that we stayed true to both of those taglines and we’re super excited to keep the ghost name strong for another 12 years.]
Q: The vaporizer space is more competitive than ever. What makes Ghost² stand out from the rest?
Jamie Rosen: [The things that make the ghost 2 stand out from every other pen style vape on the market would be the ceramic mouthpiece and airflow and the ability to switch between ascent/descent/steady dynamic heat modes.]
Q: Finally, how would you describe the Ghost² experience in just a few words?
Jamie Rosen: [The taste you could only get with a rig and a torch, in the form factor of new age vape, also works great as a fidget tool lol]
